Young Innovators Challenge!

The Young Innovators Challenge is a competition aimed at finding Scotland's innovators of tomorrow. 18 - 24 year olds in their final year of training, further and higher education are tasked with finding a business solution to real life industry challenges, where they could win up to £50,000 of funding for their idea!

Participation in the process provides opportunities to develop business and entrepreneurial skills as well as gain an understanding of how to set up and run a business. The competition is being managed on behalf of the Scottish Government by SIE.

The Young Innovators Challenge closed for entries on May 31st. The winners will be announced on July 11th.

Coming in June: Bootcamp '13!

When launching a new venture, experience is one of the best teachers. Bootcamp '13 is an intensive, residential training programme packed with activities which will help you develop your idea and make fast progress with it. If you have an idea and you're committed to making it happen, Bootcamp '13 is for you!

Bootcamp '13 will take place on June 26th - 28th at the University of Stirling. Applications closed on May 27th and all applicants have been contacted with the results.

Join our summer CreAction Labs!

Do you have an idea for a new business? Or have you launched a business and found you're hitting barriers? CreAction Lab is a supportive but challenging group where you'll have the opportunity to explore your ideas and take steps to move your business forward. Facilitators will be on hand at each weekly session to make sure you get useful tips, advice and honest feedback. CreAction Labs will be taking place in Glasgow and Edinburgh during Summer 2013.
