Company Acceleration Programme (C.A.P.)
C.A.P. is a new SIE initiative for the academic year 2009/10, specifically to help pre-existing businesses of students and recent graduates with growth potential.
10 eligible businesses per year will be selected from SIE’s entire portfolio of student start-ups to participate in the programme. They will receive a range of new initiatives, on top of the current business support SIE provides, including:
Commercial Deal Support:
hands-on assistance from SIE to help companies conduct important commercial processes, such as developing sales pipelines, negotiation and developing networks.
Deep Dive Workshops:
a specialised session with SIE Senior Management and relevant third parties to focus on a specific area of the business.
Finance Assistance:
will help the business become “Investor Ready” and give advice on obtaining grants & funding, whilst expanding your network with introductions to Angel and Venture Capital Investors
