The finalists of the 2017 Converge Challenge have been announced! 25 nominees in total representing 12 participating universities will go on to pitch at the competition final in September
The Converge Challenge is one of Scotland’s biggest enterprise competitions for university staff, students and graduates with a total prize pot valued at over £170,000.
This year’s ideas include a birthing mirror to support midwives, an online platform for personalised physiotherapy programmes and a portable toolkit to raise awareness of issues facing hard of hearing individuals.
Commenting on the finalists, Fiona Godsman, CEO of the Scottish Institute for Enterprise, said:
“Converge is an exciting competition and we congratulate everyone who has made it through to this stage. We hope that all of them will be continuing further, and SIE looks forward to continuing to support the students who entered. There is an excellent enterprise support system in Scotland, making us one of the best places in the world for ideas to grow.”
The winners will be announced at the competition final at the Glasgow Science Centre on 28th September.
