Fiona Godsman announced as finalist for BQ Female Business Leader of the Year.


Fiona Godsman, CEO of the Scottish Institute for Enterprise, has been announced as a finalist in the Scottish Business Awards 2016. Fiona has been nominated in the BQ Female Business Leader of the Year, recognising her commitment to supporting and inspiring young women to succeed.

Speaking about the nomination Fiona said:

“It’s a really exciting award, and I’m pleased to be featured alongside some fantastic finalists including Evelyn McDonald from the Scottish EDGE. It’s important to me that women’s ambitions are encouraged and supported and that’s a big part of what we do at SIE.”

The winner will be announced at the Scottish Business Awards dinner on 17 November 2016.

The Scottish Business Awards were started by social entrepreneur Josh Littlejohn (Social Bite) and over the years have featured a number of high profile speakers such as Bill Clinton and George Clooney. The keynote speaker in 2016 is oscar-winning actor, Leonardo DiCaprio.
