Competition Finalists Face the Judges

On Saturday 14th March, we took over the Melting Pot in Edinburgh to host Judging Day 2015 for the finalists of New Ventures and Fresh Ideas. Each individual/ team had five minutes to pitch their idea to a panel of judges then tackled a round of questions.

It was a tough job for our two panels of judges as the standard was higher than ever. After a long afternoon of deliberations, they have selected the final winners. We’re keeping quiet until our Annual Student Enterprise Summit on 25th March, where we’ll announce the winners and hand over the prizes. If you’d like to join us you can book tickets here.

If you missed out on this year’s competitions, why not take a look at the Young Innovators Challenge? There’s a prize fund of £80,000 for social innovative ideas and it’s open to anyone studying at a university, college or modern apprenticeship in Scotland.
