It’s an exciting time in the SIE office as it’s now only TWO WEEKS to go until the SIE Student Enterprise Summit, SIE’s flagship annual event! It’s always a fantastic day, full of inspiration, whether you want to start your own business or just want to find out more from people who have done it for themselves.
Our previous speakers have included some of the very best of Scotland’s entrepreneurial talent, including Sir Tom Hunter, Tessa Hartmann, Shaf Rasul and many more!
The 2014 summit speakers are:
- Kevin MacDonald, Red Hot Chilli Pipers
- Gavin Oattes, Owner and Managing Director Tree of Knowledge
- Hermann Twickler, Managing Director of PressureFab
- Gareth Williams, Co-founder and Chief Executive of Skyscanner
- Petra Wetzel, Owner of West Brewery
The winners of the national Fresh Ideas and New Ventures Competitions will be announced, and a panel of young entrepreneurs will take questions from the audience and talk about how they got started.
Check out our videos from the 2013 summit, including our speaker sessions and some glimpses behind-the-scenes.
