The Converge Challenge Awards dinner was held in Glasgow Science Centre on 28 September with a pitch and awards ceremony. We would like to congratulate all finalists and winners! SIE are delighted to have supported winners and finalists in the earlier stages of their entrepreneurial journey.
Design & Creativity Award: Corien Staels, Staels Design LTD, £31,500 (£15,000 in cash and £16,500 in business support)
Winner: Juan Pablo Echenique, University of Edinburgh – Power Enable Solutions – £6000
Runner-up Liam McMorrow, University of Aberdeen – Adelie Health – £4000

The Converge Challenge and Converge Kickstart competitions are run by Heriot Watt University. They provide entrepreneurial training, hands-on mentoring, business support and give out cash prizes to help students further their ideas.
