SIE’s flagship early-stage enterprise competition opens today (03 October) with more opportunities to win! The FRESH IDEAS competition is looking for students and recent graduates with early stage ideas they want to take to the next level.
The competition runs monthly from October until January with monthly winners and prizes, leading up to final pitching in March to win five prizes of up to £1000.
This year, the competition is being further enhanced with special awards to recognise the best ideas meeting three Scottish Government priorities; Healthcare, Food & Drink and the Creative Industry.
The Fresh Ideas competition is also the gateway to an exclusive summer entrepreneurship programme which will help the best entrants focus on their ideas and make it happen!
Last year’s winner, Anna Renouf (Orrin Equestrian Ltd), recently won the Converge Challenge Entrepreneurial Spirit award, demonstrating that the competition can be the start of a fantastic entrepreneurial journey. Who will be next?
Entry is online only. Students can enter at: www.sie.ac.uk/enterfreshideas
The first monthly competition will close on 28 October 2016.
